  1. Think Lean: try to never complicate anything in your projects. Keep it as simple as possible. Make sure you don't spend an excessive amount of time or resources trying to make it work. You might need to work 100+ hours per week at first but remember itis important to accomplish the most with the least amount of effort.

  2. Work with others: You might be tempted to do everything in your company. From accounting to social media, you can handle it all, but if you work with someone else you will probably make less mistakes and it will be easier to grow.

  3. Outsource your low-level work: As an entrepreneur you are going to have a million things to do every day. If you really wish to focus on growth for your business, you might need to outsource some of the low-level work that drags you down. You don't really need to do all your accounting, or social media, others might be able to help you out.

  4. Focus: Try to focus your mind on a single problem you want to solve. Trying to develop 3 or 4projects at the same time is counterproductive. If you want to do many things at the same time, go ahead, we are not saying it is impossible, but always keep one as your main focus.

  5. Learn to budget: Many entrepreneurs fail because they have no idea how to use their money appropriately. Learn to budget, learn to create financial reports, understand financial terms and find the best models for your company. Follow an organized and detail-oriented pattern so that your startup has the cash flow it needs at all times.

  6. Learn to rest: You need time to do things other than work. It might not seem as a priority because most ideal high performers work all the time, but this might not be your case. Perhaps you need to focus 40 hours per week, or 100, nobody really knows, what we do know is that sleeping well, eating proper food and allowing yourself some time to rest is crucial for success. An overworked person does not perform as well as someone who rests and has healthy habits.

  7. Remember it is your reputation you are selling, not your product: Always deliver the best to all clients regardless of their purchase. Remember that even the smallest client is someone who believes in your product. Remember people always recommend what they enjoy, and that if you don’t have a customer experience in place your customer might not buy from you twice. And keep in mind that if your clients are not delighted, they will not talk to their friends about that awesome product they bought.
